Assessed before
the day of surgery.

The cancellations that cost a facility a whole list are nearly always avoidable: a patient on an anticoagulant nobody asked about, an airway nobody looked at until the morning.

What we do

Four services, by licensed clinicians

How it works

How we work

Assess early, consent properly, check the equipment before every list, and discharge on criteria rather than the clock.

Facility agreement

Case mix, equipment and cover set out in writing.

Assessment before the day

So cancellations happen in advance, not at 7am.

Consent before anesthesia

Technique, alternatives and material risks.

Recovery to criteria

With written instructions and an escort.

How we work

A Florida practice, working with facilities

NML Anesthesia LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, document number L20000245106, filed in 2020. Anesthesia is administered only by clinicians licensed in Florida and practising within their authorised scope, under [FLORIDA MEDICAL LICENCE NUMBER] and [FLORIDA APRN/CRNA LICENCE NUMBER].

Anesthesia carries real risk, including risks that are rare and not fully predictable, which is why every patient is individually assessed and consents before anything is given. Nothing on this website is medical advice or an assessment of anyone's fitness for anesthesia, and no outcome is promised. This is not an emergency service — call 911 in an emergency. Patient information is protected health information handled under HIPAA.

Frequently asked

The questions we get most

Is anesthesia safe?

It is far safer than it once was, and it is not without risk. Risks are discussed individually before consent, because they depend on the patient, the procedure and the setting — not on a general reassurance.

Why do you ask about weight-loss medication?

Because GLP-1 medications slow stomach emptying and can raise the risk of aspiration under anesthesia. It genuinely matters, and it is why we ask about every medication including ones people do not think of as relevant.

Why was my procedure cancelled on the day?

Usually something that should have surfaced earlier — an anticoagulant, a chest infection, food or drink taken against instructions. Assessing days beforehand is how we try to avoid exactly that.

Do I really need someone to collect me?

Yes, after sedation or general anesthesia, without exception. Judgement and coordination are affected for longer than people feel they are, and a taxi alone is not an escort.

Can patients book you directly?

No. We contract with surgical facilities and practices, not with individual patients. Your surgeon or facility arranges anesthesia cover.

Is office-based anesthesia as safe as a hospital?

It can be, for appropriately selected patients and procedures with the right equipment and transfer arrangements. Patient selection is the whole question, and we will decline a case that does not belong in that setting.
